Soccer match analysis

A recorded match, broken into moments you can check

Upload a full match or a passage. The first breakdown is automatic: review recorded moments, follow a player, compare team stats and read a draft report linked back to the footage.

Player follow. Open a player card and choose Watch this player to highlight them in the footage, where tracking is available.
  • Moments

Passes, recoveries, shots and other recorded actions, each with original, annotated and closer views. Goals get a focused review and remain estimates.

  • Player follow

Watch one player through a sequence and see their involvement in recorded actions, where identity allows.

  • Team stats and report

Compare recorded actions and estimated possession, then read a draft tactical report whose observations link to clips.

  • Chat after your analysis

When your own match is complete, open Agent Chat to ask about teams, players and actions. Chat is disabled in the public demo.

Players are identified by team and readable shirt number. A player can still be tracked without a readable number, but may stay unidentified. Small or blurred numbers, similar kits and crowding can leave identities missing or mixed, so check the linked moments.

Golf & technique review

Step through a swing, frame by frame

Technique Analysis is for one athlete’s movement: a golf swing, a serve or a training drill. Move through the phases, check the overlays against the video and compare with a reference.

Public reference · no sign-up

  • Body and joint-angle overlaysTracked body points and angles drawn on the video as a visual guide.
  • Annotation toolsMark a frame with pen, arrow, line and circle to show what to work on.
  • Side-by-side comparisonPut two swings next to each other: a reference or your own.
  • Follow-up questionsAsk the AI about the movement, drills or a training focus.

Walkthrough

Works best with one athlete, fully in frame.

  • The whole body visible through the movement
  • A steady camera, side-on or face-on
  • Even light and as little blur as possible

Points and angles are estimated from the video. Review the overlays alongside the original movement.

Agent Chat workflows

Scouting, patterns and training plans, on request

These published examples use Agent Chat: upload footage and ask for what you need. They are separate from the dedicated soccer analysis. Counts and player attribution depend on what the video shows, so check the timestamps.

SCOUTING & ATHLETE COMPARISON

Compare athletes against the criteria that matter to you.

Bring footage and a scouting question to Agent Chat. Compare visible strengths, review passages and return to the clips behind an observation.

  • Set your own comparison criteria.
  • Keep findings connected to the source footage.

PLAYER & ACTION PATTERNS

Study the actions you want to understand.

Ask for a specific shot, movement or sequence to be reviewed. Explore timestamped findings and recorded patterns, then inspect the relevant footage.

  • Define the action or question you want reviewed.
  • Check reported counts and patterns against the clips.

TECHNIQUE FEEDBACK & TRAINING

Turn a technique review into your next training session.

Ask about visible strengths and areas to work on, inspect the moments behind the feedback, and request drills or a training plan to discuss with your coach.

  • Review technique with timestamps and video context.
  • Ask follow-up questions to refine the suggested practice.

How it works

From upload to follow-up questions

The same four steps apply whichever tool fits your recording.

  1. 01

    Choose the tool

Soccer analysis for a recorded match, Deep Review for floorball, Technique Analysis for one athlete’s movement, or Agent Chat for other sports and specific review questions.

    Upload and check the cost

Add the recording. The upload screen shows the mode’s current limits and credit rate, and the estimate before you start.

  3. 03

    Review the evidence

Open moments, player views, overlays or timestamps and check each finding against the footage.

  4. 04

    Ask follow-ups

Ask about your own completed analysis, then go back to the clips behind the answer.

Questions

Before you upload

Choosing a tool, costs, timing and what to expect from your footage.

Which tool fits my recording?

A recorded soccer match: Soccer analysis. A floorball match: Floorball Match Analysis in Deep Review. One athlete’s swing, serve or drill: Technique Analysis. Any other sport, or a specific request such as scouting or counting one type of action: Agent Chat. The sports analysis guide covers the choice in more detail.

Will I know the cost before it runs?

Yes. Credit use depends on the mode and the length of footage you select. The upload screen shows the current limits and rate for each mode, and you see the estimate before you confirm. See plans and credits.

How long does an analysis take?

There isn’t a fixed turnaround. It depends on the mode, the recording’s length and resolution, and available processing capacity. A full soccer match can take longer than its running time. You don’t need to watch it run; come back to check progress and results.

What footage works best?

A steady view where the action stays visible. For matches, distinct kits and readable shirt numbers help identification; small far-side players, blur, crowding and camera cuts make it harder. For technique, keep one athlete fully in frame. See the video upload guide.

Can I check the results?

Yes, and you should for anything important. Soccer moments, statistics and report observations link to clips; technique overlays sit on the frame they came from; Agent Chat answers can point to timestamps. Results are AI estimates, not official statistics or measurements.

Is my footage private? What is public here?

Your uploads and analyses are accessed through your signed-in account; uploading does not publish them. The soccer match demo and golf reference linked on this page are separately published examples you can open without an account. Agent Chat is disabled in the public soccer demo.

How does follow-up chat work?

After your own soccer analysis completes, open Agent Chat from the match page to ask about teams, players and recorded actions, then open the supporting clips. In Technique Analysis you can ask follow-up questions alongside the video. Answers build on the saved analysis, which can have gaps or identity mistakes, so check the footage.
